🔍 What we are looking for
We are looking for an experienced yet scrappy executive to join our founding team and lead our core operations starting pre-launch all the way through to scale. As operations lead you will serve as a thought partner to the CEO and have the ability to directly shape the company's vision and trajectory from day 1. Our ideal candidate is someone who loves to tackle complex problems head-first, thrives leading teams and is driven by the opportunity to reimagine what the pet health and wellness industry would look like born today. This role reports directly to the founder and CEO of Otis.
🚀 What you will do
- Drive and scale veterinary and pharmacy operations to ensure customers receive world-class service
- Own product development and supply chain, setting goals and KPIs on our path to become the one-stop-shop for pet health treatments and products
- Establish relationships with manufacturers and manage day to day operational processes and inventory oversight
- Ensure continuous operational efficiency, proactively identifying supply gaps and bottlenecks to avoid stock-outs
- Play a critical role in team design, culture development, fundraising, goal setting and hiring non-technical positions
💪 What we'll love about you
- 5+ years experience leading operations for a fast-growing e-commerce company
- You have managed a business line through a P&L and are comfortable in a pro-forma financial model
- You possess a high degree of comfort getting your hands dirty in the earliest stages of the business while managing ambiguity and complexity
